Items that can be brought to the Avon recycling area are: cans and bottles, newspapers, cardboard, bbq propane tanks, motor oil, used antifreeze, car batteries, household batteries, fluorescent bulbs, thermometers.
Note: Homeowners are responsible for informing all renters, tenants and/or guests of all rules and regulations.

  1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.
Recyclables must be put out to the edge of the lane, or at the curb if you do not have access to a lane. All containers must be marked as “recycling.” Lids are to be removed on collection day. Newspapers are to be tied in bundles not to exceed 12 inches.
What is collected – tin cans, aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic and newspaper.

Empty all recyclables into appropriate dumpsters. A dumpster is provided for empty bags.

Metal is a separate pick up. We collect metal on average once every two to three weeks. Please call before putting out for collection.
