Removal: Streets |
| |
During
times of snow fall, please move your
cars to the south or west side of
the street. DO NOT move your car back
to the north or east sides of the
street until the snow has stopped
and the plows have completely cleared
the roadway from curb to curb. (Ord
# 161-26.1) When shoveling out cars,
do not throw snow into the street
but rather pile it between the sidewalk
and the curb. (Ord # 142-16.c). |

Removal: Lanes |
| |
During
times of EXTREME snowfalls, it may
be beneficial to "not" park
vehicles in garages or in the lanes,
but to park on the main or cross streets.
The lanes have a limited amount of
area to push snow making it difficult
to access your vehicles. It may take
longer to clear lanes of snow due
to the main and cross streets needing
to be kept clear for emergency vehicles.
Please following the rules pertaining
to parking on the streets. |
