Annual deduction of $250.00 from property taxes to qualified veterans or surviving spouses. You must have been in the service during active wartime/peacekeeping periods. The Senior Freeze property tax reimbursement program has been a vital lifeline for many seniors and disabled individuals throughout New Jersey, helping to keep their property taxes stable so they can remain in their homes well into their golden years. This year, due to COVID-19, we have extended the application deadline until February 1, 2021 to provide more time so that we can ensure as many eligible taxpayers as possible take advantage of this program.

Annual deduction of $250.00 from property taxes for homeowners age 65 or older, or disabled, who meet income and residency requirements. You must be age 65 (or disabled) on or before October 1st of the prior year. Property must be your principal residence. Annual income limit of $10,000 (please see the application for excludable income). Applications are available at the municipal tax office.
