Town Hall Meeting Monday, 10/25/2021, 7:00 PM

Regular Meeting of the Mayor & Commissioners
In accordance with the rules and regulations of the Open Public Meetings Law, please be advised that the Board of Commissioners’ meeting will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  This meeting will be held in person at the Avon Marina, 2 Main Street, Avon NJ.  Masks are strongly encouraged for all people attending the meeting.

National Drug Take Back Day

Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 – 10AM to 2PM

Clean out your medicine cabinets!  The next National DEA Rx Take Back Day is October 23rd, 2021. Bring your expired, unwanted prescriptions to the Avon by the Sea Police Department at 301 Main St. from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm for safe, secure & anonymous disposal!

  • Drop Pills, Capsules, Patches & Pet Meds
  • Medication can be disposed either in its original container (with label removed) or by removing medication from its container and disposing directly into the drug disposal box.
  • Liquid products, such as cough medicine, should remain sealed in their original container with the cap tightly sealed.
  • Vape pens or other e-cigarette devices can be deposited ONLY after the batteries are removed from the devices.
  • Please DO NOT drop Syringes!
